 Mothers Day was celebrated in village Sirohi on 10 th of May. Children were made to sing songs and write messages to their mothers praising them for the love and comfort they provide them at home.
 They were told of the importance of a mother and the role she plays in making the home a comfortable place. She dedicates each day to us so we must dedicate one day in the year for her. Though our presence fills the mother with pleasure but wishing her would make her feel happier and valuable. The children and mothers were very happy being together and interacting with each other. Miss Jyoti and Miss Kavita made excellent arrangements for the event and arranged for refreshments which all enjoyed thoroughly! Before the close of the day’s event discussions were held on health and personal hygiene.Importance for keeping the surroundings of their houses was discussed.  Everyone present came forward and agreed that a comprehensive chalked out programme be prepared village wise and they would all participate in cleaning their environment. Segregation of village waste into degradable and non degradable was discussed. We are currently having a dialogue with the city waste insinuating plant on the Faridabad Gurgaon highway. They have informed us that once we collect about two tons of waste they will send their transport to collect it. This would be a huge step forward for Dipin. Everyone concerned is well aware of this very vital aspect of clean hygienic living which will ultimately improve their general health in years to come. |
