In an impoverished environment, less than two hours from Delhi, DIPIN’s core commitment is to ensure the mental, spiritual and physical wellbeing of children and secure their future. Our development spotlight is always focused on the child, who is placed firmly at the centre of social change. Our priorities are the development of capabilities and self-esteem, leading to the fulfilment of innate potential.

At the outset, DIPIN effectively created a database of a detailed census in all adoptive villages whereby a demographic, socio-economic and health status base line was established for each household. This enables our organization to maintain meticulous, updated records, which will be used to make comparative studies in the future.

We work with marginalised rural children and families to build holistically on their innate strengths, address problems, monitor developmental progress and nurture prosperity. We also promote partnerships and mutually beneficial facilitation between families, encouraging communities to contribute harmoniously towards their own collective development.

We are implicitly committed to the protection and care of community health; from timely immunization programs and educative workshops to health and sanitation campaigns, to combat indifferent health practices, poor nutrition and life threatening diseases.

Basic education and the improvement of life skills promote self-worth, dispelling poverty and ignorance. We build classrooms, develop curricula and run intensive training workshops for teachers at regular intervals, consistently monitoring and evaluating progress.

In order to thrive, people need secure and hygienic environs. We seek to inform and educate communities about good health practices. We help to maintain environmental consciousness and quality and generate awareness about safe drinking water and efficient waste management systems.

Steady employment ensures a secure income for the community and fosters the basics of a decent life in terms of life experience and development opportunities. We offer financial advice and also provide micro-finance for business ideas. Our bio-farming incentives and womens self help groups further promotes income generation.

Since progress is determined in human terms, our main investment is in human capital. DIPIN’s multi-pronged strategic program focuses on capacity building and the development of inherent capabilities. Our mantra is self-development and self-sufficiency; building communities marked by the cornerstones of robust health, sound education, gainful occupation and clean surroundings, backed by healthy inter-personal relationships.

The one thing that remains constant is DIPIN’s dedication and commitment. There are vast communities whose development needs remain sorely neglected. There are bright children with promise and potential who yearn for recognition and self-esteem and for a life beyond their immediate circumstances who will fall by the wayside for lack of opportunity.

Children are the change and it is them we aim to reach with your help.

That poverty lays people bare to the ravages of ignorance, malnutrition, ill health, exploitation and misery is an indisputable fact. Our approach is to assist communities in capacity building and to encourage positive action in order to actualize a new future.

DIPIN’s target goal is the advancement of community resources, using a series of validating strategies towards achieving a specific outcome, namely the empowerment of communities

To vanquish poverty, disparity, unsanitary environs, nutritional deficiencies and poor living conditions, our community awareness program lays emphasis on the fundamentals of civilized human society: education and child development, human health and community welfare programs and environmental enhancement. We aspire to nurture a sense of ownership within communities to promote self-generated progressive change.

Interventions emphasizing the basics of welfare as DIPIN has put in place facilitate the holistic development and rapid advancement of the individual. We advocate a respectful attitude towards our communities, and maintain an active exchange of those ideas that are supportive of community participation. We attempt to incorporate valuable life skills and attitudes as part of this progressive evolutionary process.

Cultural autonomy and an abiding respect for indigenous belief systems as well as that of heritage, is mandatory to rural community identity. Our endeavour is to create a sound indigenous model, with the hallmarks of a holistic social development paradigm, where the emphasis is on discipline and co-operation. This engenders a sense of responsibility and community ownership.
